A few of my friends going onto fourth year are planning on stuffing up their resume with a college diploma..also to get more practical knowledge. Do you know anyone who has done the same? And what kind of programs are beneficial?

it really depends on what you area of expertise is... what are you majoring in right now?>

hm...that's interesting. depends on what the first degree was.
as for me, I'm going to do a special b.comm program in windsor. only a year. hard work but it pays off in the end.
but it all depends what the first degree is and why u would want to get a college diploma. not necessarily practical experience. if u can find a job in the field u want to work in, that experience will definitely be more valuable. just remember that degrees and diplomas don't mean much.

A good number of my classmates in college had graduated from university, and came to college expecting a free ride.
It's...an adjustment. It isn't particularly hard unless you frequently get idiot teachers/groupmates for projects (and you will), but it's a lot more assignment based. College usually doesn't care if you understand how or why, as long as you hand something in.
I'd recommend it, if you're doing it to expand your skills/try a different approach, instead of going for a quick certificate.

This might be good if you're going into something like business.
Also, you can transfer a lot of your credits so you can finish like maybe with 2 semesters. Just make sure you have your course outlines

Some people go onto to college or vocational school if they cannot find a (good) FT job.

Many have futhur their education via college programs and certs.
Like what the other ppl above said, it really depends on what you are trying to do. Some whom are in accounting, actually take accounting courses after their uni undergrad studies to do the CMA/CGA/CA exam.
