good restaurants around Barrie?

We live around Alliston, and there are NO good restaurants here. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the Barrie area. Only about 1/2 hour away, maybe a little less, so dont mind the drive if its worth it

Ya, try Nino's in Barrie Its downtown near a beer store if I remember correctly. Its authentic Italian!!!

Or try Webers, Applebees, or the Galxy diner on Bayfield

Michael and Marions (The Side Door) on Bayfield is my favorite .Creative good food and service. Also good is Shirley's Bayside Grill on Dunlop . Worst wings in the world are at Hooters on Dunlop but nice view of the lake. :razz:
