I walked into Futureshop on Bridgeport yesterday to pick up some more Maxell DVD+R 100pks and saw that the Logitech MX-510 Red for $29.99. Lots of stock on the shelf. Not bad for a pretty good mouse. Too bad Staples doesn't have it anymore though the Bridgeport Staples has an open boxed one.

add to that it was ~$18 after $10 MIR a couple mths ago (FS/BB/stooples) and some ppl managed to PM stooples to get it for $5! :twisted:

I looked around and didn't see it any less than $49 locally here. Oh well, I'm happy with my recent PMs. :)

well, the MX510 is a gamer mouse,... and if ur into games and willing to spend this $30, u might as well spend another $20 +/- to get the MX518 (new)...
IMO its more worth it spending on the new mx518 rather than the old mx510.

then might aswell spend the extra $50 and get the new one logitech is coming out with....
or wait and the prices will probably drop some more on the mx510 before it gets discontinued...
personally i dont feel a difference between the 510 and the 518...ymmv..and as a former cal-p cs player....i used my logitech optical usb....its all personal preference with games...i've seen some kickass players like stevenson from team EG on lan...and they still use the ms optical....so saying 1 optical is better than another for games is a moot point because sure it may be more precise but the weight difference between the intellipoint/logi optical series and the mx series is quite a lot...

You are quite correct! My name appeared on every check, just was sent to family members addresses. Called CSR to ensure it was "by the rules" and would not get turned down.
FS really pissed me off back then, they would not PM me a router...said it was below their cost. Had I known there was a complaint filed with the BBB against FS regarding PM's, I would have done something more about it. It felt really good to get these mice, the shock alone on the manager's face was well worth it. If only Stooples smartened up, we'd be bashing FS and BB with PM's :D
