For most of the new immigrants who came to Canada from tropical countries, the hot weather is just right. However for long time residents, the weather sucks.

So what's your opinion ?

Will Canada become Saudi Arabia of the North ?

Yes and Canadians can save lots of money by staying here instead of flying south to Cuba or Jamaica to enjoy warm weather since we have warm weather here too

Don't know what it's like in southern Ontario but I've been loving the hot dry weather in Northern Ontario. Well, not so much the dry part, it's hard on the lawns and stuff. We complain about the long cold winters, why would we complain about a long hot summer. Keep it coming! :cheesygri

Winter sucks. Snow is good on a TV show but not in our neighbourhood.

I hate this weather. I'd crawl back into my igloo to escape the heat, only it melted. 25c would be perfect for me.

As if, he got hired for a reason. He is qualified for doing his job. Think "Global Warming". It is a fact.

"Global warming" doesn't guarantee that every future summer will be very hot in Canada. And it'd be stupid for any meteorologist to say something like that.

Global warming causes meteorological instability. It's stupid to associate it with hot summers. More than likely it will cause increased rainfall in some parts and droughts in others.

If you don't like the winter, then you'r enot a true Canadian. In fact, they should have that on the immigration questionnaire. Do you like snow? "no, I hate it" .. Citizenship DECLINED!

I don't mind a little snow; in fact, I would rather take the in your face blistering wind chills than this hot, muggy amazonian atmosphere. All I need to do is walk 5 minutes, and my back is all sweaty with my shirt clinging to myself. Terrible!

Who ever said Fall is the best time, said it best. Nice red leaves, cute girls in sweater with scarfs around and their pretty hats

weather with 35+ c.. is good on a hot summer day.. when thoses quick pouring rain occurs when your walking down that street watching all the hotties get soaked all wearing white.. running. lol thats one cool thing.. lol. or them runing towards you wanting to share your umbrella.

the fall. yes all the nice girls wearing cute, colourful scarfs, hats and gloves. and sweaters. :D

Its a great change from the last two summers, which have been either damp or downright cold.

As long as I have AC, a pool or a cold shower, I can live with it.
I'm starting to get used to the heat actually.. when its like 24-25 I get cold.
