Last time they had this, they had wings on the menu. Everyone would go for 1/2 priced wings and then they took off the wings from the menu. Does anyone know if wings are back on the menu?

Was this an LTO or something elsewhere? We've been going to ESM for 1/2 apps for years now. Here in NL it's been around for years.

The apps menu is severely reduced (happened a couple of months ago). The wings are back on though.

their nacho portions for this deal are SMALLER then the average dish u can order...well they were at the markville location.

I used to spend many a Friday night eating peanuts with 1/2 price apps and a jug of Rickards at ESM in Richmond Hill... that was 5 years ago or so...

as far as i know they were ONLY if u ate at the bar and bought a beer...they've now opened the promo so u dont have to buy a drink and perhaps dont have to sit at the bar (can anyone confirm?)

also it included Friday and Saturdays

some places didnt mind if u sat at a bar area booth but others cracked down and insisted only on the bar stool.

I'll definately check this out. Try their Bruschetta, it is really good, as are their nachos.

East Side Mario is one of the worst places to eat.

When you walk into a restaurant on a saturday night and it's empty, you know you're in trouble.

The best Calamari I have ever had is at East Side's - Calamari Diablo or something like that. It is fried in a pan with peppers and onions and brought out sizzling!!! YUMMM... ;)

I've only been there once, but I can't see myself ever going back. The food wasn't as bad as Olive Garden, but it was far from good.

I'm a regular at ESM and I love the food there.. the portions are huge as i'm there so much, so like 10 huge wings for less than 5 bucks?!? its a great deal!

Ive been going there almost weekly for this, for the past few months, no need to buy a drink, have to sit at the bar, some ESMs have it all week, new head office policy is saying that you are not allowed to get the food packed up...usually they will let you though, and they have:

Garlic Cheese Bread
Wings
BBQ chicken Pizza
Calamari
Nachos
Bruchetta
and more.

Yeah went tonight. It was pretty good for the price. The trick is that it is CERTAIN appetizers like you indicated. Couldn't get my favourite CALAMARI DIABLO (or whatever it's called), and a few other things. In total there were 7 appetizers 1/2 price. Still a good go though...
