At a price of $1.59 + GST, this was ABSOLUTELY the MOST RIDICULOUS piece of CRAP that I ever had.

The photo of the "burger" is TOO DECEIVING!!!

Spend another $0.20 + GST ($0.22) and pick up fast food at McDonald's ... Monday (Big Xtra), Tuesday (Big Mac), Wednesday (McChicken), Thursday (2 Cheeseburgers), Friday (Filet-O-Fish), Saturday (Double Cheeseburger), Sunday (Quarter Pounder).

Got suckered in this KFC Scam by a colleague today when looking for food for lunch. He said that it was a good deal at KFC for the Snacker ..... NOT!!!!!

Those two Snackers that I had ... filled only one tiny corner of my stomach. Could of had two Big Xtra's!!!! Cost $1.79x2 + GST = $3.83

Lunch (two Snackers and one Big Xtra) ended up costing me: ($1.59x2 + GST) + ($1.79 + GST) = $5.32

Wasted $1.49 which I could have gotten a Large Two Creams coffee at Tim Horton's.

Drank water to wash down the damn Snackers! Horrible taste!!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THE KFC SNACKERS!

This is what wrong with teens today sure everyone eats out now and then. But on the avg teens eat out way to much at the fat food joints and by doing this are on there way to an early death.

Snacker (12 grams of fat per sandwich)
Big Extra (20 grams of fat per sandwich)

You are allowed to have 50 grams per day.So at one meal you had 44 grams.

I wouldn't suggest eating the BigXtra. But that's just my opinion. The meat tends to fall apart too easily during the "cooking" process which makes me to believe it was full of fat to begin with. And the "seasoning" they add is essentially salt and it depends on whomever is on the grill that adds it. So you may get some really salty BigX.

Compare Snacker versus McChicken then. HUGE size difference. It is Chicken versus Chicken right?

Screw KFC!

It really is a snack. I thought you'd get a great big sandwich, was mislead in some regards. Will definately go back to McChicken days for $1.79 from now on

... i suggest staying away from the McChicken too...

Grind up misc chicken parts. Yum. I've eaten my share of McChicken and found like chewy bits and some unchewable parts. (Ya.. I ate there when I work and still eat there sometimes.) Although its still better then most of the other products they have.

I've only had it twice, and it was AWESOME both times, I even made a thread about it here, It's a snack, its not meant to fill you up, and hell you shouldn't be filling up on KFC anyway. For the size and the great taste I think its a great deal.

only one day a week..

2-3 years ago licks burgers had 23cent burgers on the 23rd of the month...you cant compare a limited sale with an everyday price

apples and oranges..

Personally, I have to agree that the snacker is a tad small, even for its price. I had a toonie special and a snacker today, and the portion difference is quite significant, in terms of filling me up. I'd spend the extra 60 cents for a toonie special instead.

And yes, it is a time specific deal, but its not like i'm about to eat at kfc 2-3 times a week.

Snacker is a joke, I eat them with 2 bites. Anyone looking for a deal should wait for Tuesdays, anyone who wants good fried chicken needs to locate a Popeye's.

In all fairness, I too saw the picture of the "snacker" and it is misleading since people tend to be visual by nature.

I too was disappointed by their measly portion size.

I saw tv ads for the snacker in the States for 99 cents US...

Here, they're a $1.59 to $1.79 Cdn.

$1US = $1.22Cdn

I guess Canadian chickens are more expensive than American ones... or snackers are just smaller down in the states

The Snacker is pretty small (although not as small as I expected), how the hell did you finish it in 2 bites? Are you that Kobayashi guy? :D

The McChicken isn't much bigger either. Look how thin a McChicken patty is. Snacker is quite a bit thicker, it's nice white meat, and it tastes better too. And unless you get it on the Wednesday, McChicken is a ripoff.

Except for the McDeal, McDonalds is a scam. If their fries weren't like crack, they would be finished.

lol

I was thinkin' the other way about the KFC Snacker - it's the cheapest way to jump into the KFC game! Only $1.59 for a piece of guaranteed white meat - not their usual grisly fatty bucket type selection, nor their other [u]truly[/i] overpriced sandwiches. I love 'em!

(PS: The McD's Big Extra is a salt burger with meat seasoning...)

And if you really want some value for $$$, stop by your local Indian bakery and pick yourself up some Samosa's...

OK, their Big Mac too. Other than that though, nothing.

Back to the Snacker, has anybody been to the local KFC lately? Is the Snacker still available? The one by me has a sign that says it's gone because of popular demand, but it will be coming back.

That would be an interesting marketing strategy...

(Personally, I wondered if it wouldn't cut into their other sales - eg: "forget that $5 dinner, I just feel like a $1.59 Snacker...")

In the Snacker commercial, it shows two guys holding them in their hands and they look HUGE when they're taking a bite out of it.. It also looks nice and crispy breaded, which it is not.. it was just some soggy breading around a flimsy piece of chicken.. mine was seriously sub-par

This is still just KFC we're talking about...

(But, as for the commercial - WOW - I didn't think they were allowed to exaggerate TV! ;) )

wouldnt it only fall apart if it was either a) too lean or b) over cooked ?
you can always ask for no seasoning.
