A Vietnamese man driving a Van pulled in front of our house and tells us that our Chimney is broken and offered to fix it immediately. I told him that I will climb up and have a look and will call him back(I asked for his business card but he came up with an excuse and took off).

There was nothing wrong with our Chimney. There are lots of way for him to make money...like holding a real job.

even in a penthouse, there most likely wont' be chimney. all gas fireplaces in condos now are direct vented. ie no chimney.

I think I heard of this happening elsewhere but its not a vietnamese man but white men. If the viet man targets Woodbridge he could've stole so much money from those rich I-talians :|

theres a growing trend in the vietnamese community where they like to ask to do work for people for money under the table. like if ur fence broke a vietnamese guy will knock on ur door and give u a estimate and ask if u wanna do it.
