The first time I bought something from the US, a video card for $180, I was charged $92 from UPS for brokerage fee. That's messed up.

I shipped a package to US by Purolator today and was amazed at all the paperwork I had to fill out. Bill of lading, commercial invoice, an FCC declaration, and another document. I even had to write down my driver licence ID. Plus now they have to open and inspect your package in front of you....sheesh :| I was half expecting the guy to pull out a rubber glove :lol:

My favorite is Canadapost and Fedex! Puladuor suck bigtime too, lost a monitor with there shipping once!

I hate Purolator.. however it's spelt.. A few years back, we moved from BC to Ottawa, so we packed all our stuff up in boxes, shipped it with them.. we get to Ottawa, our stuff comes.. the boxes are half empty, and re-taped shut.. they were packed tight, so we figure they must have come open.. no idea what happened to our stuff.. Purolator didn't even make a note to mention that they lost our stuff. If it had've been something minor, we probably wouldn't have noticed.. but half of our possessions were gone, they never even reembursed us.. I don't even think they apologized, if I remember correctly.. I was only 9 at the time..
