So i have a cell phone for the Toronto region and ill prolly be in toronto 4 months of the year and kingston for 8 months (for school).
Are there any solutions to being able to keep my cell # and having a local kingston # at the same time?
Is there a way to have 2 numbers connected to the same phone?
Thanx

I went to kingston for uni too...but im sure this applies to anyplace.
you may be able to switch numbers to 613 and maybe switch back? thats what my friends on telus did. Rogers didnt guarantee me this and I didnt get my old number back anyways. Someone else may be able to verify that for you.
What one friend of mine did which was very tedious was he kept his 416 number and basically didnt answer his phone calls(to avoid long distance charges for me) and just called me back each time.
hope that was of some help

If you are moving, rogers will switch your # for free, and you get to pick one too if you do it online. But they won't keep ur old 416# for u, so you'll have to get a new one when u come back. : I went to Kingston too for uni, but back then cell phones weren't that popular.
