I guess off topic would best fit this question...
What is the best way to get rid of a farmer's tan?
My S.O. got me a very nice looking shirt but I am embarassed to wear it due to my farmer's tan.
Any suggestions?

Maybe try to even it out by putting sunblock on the tanned areas and not on the untanned area. If your embarrased about it then try get the tan while you doing other stuff like mowing the lawn, jogging and tanning by yourself.

Come to the beach and play beach volleyball. Play for 4-5 hours x 2 days and you'll be set.

You won't wear shorts or T's even on those ultra humid hot days?

when you are at home make sure those areas are exposed and spend some time doing yard work or working in the garden. i find that helps to get rid of my sock mark.
well, it blends better anyways.

Isn't there a good chance you'd have two different tan colours afterwards? :)

I don't see the problem. I'm on my bike six or seven days of the week and have very pronounced tan lines. I could care less; it shows that I'm outdoors being active instead of sitting inside all day.

Develop a sense of confidence about yourself, your appearance. Then, you won't have any problems with farmer's tan.

A friend of mine was at the beach with the family one day. He took his glasses, put them on his chest and fell asleep. When he woke up he put his glasses on and his wife started laughing hysterically. The white outline of his glasses was on his chest.

Agreed, I have a very dark tan on my legs, arms and face from being outside all the time biking and hiking. I never go to the beach so my chest is white as snow lol.
