My HP 300i has been acting up lately - it reads/writes regular CD's fine but it won't read/write DVD's. If a DVD is inserted into the drive, My Computer shows the drive as empty.
I've updated the firmware to the latest version (EK24) and uninstalled the drive from Device Manager several times to no avail. I've even tried downgrading to older firmware versions a couple of times.
Has anyone else had similar problems with this drive?
