As the title says I finally got my first Ipod. Got the iPod photo 20 gig model. So far so good.

Looking for a recommendation for new ear buds. Anybody got any suggestions? :(

Sennheisser MX500 if you can find them.

Who carries them?

I strongly recommend against the MX400s. I use them with my iPod and they're garbage. No bass, no detail, no imaging, just garbage.

The Apple ear buds sounded much better but I accidently ruined mine. If I don't find a decent alternate, I might try the higher priced Apple ear buds.

Buy apple earbuds since they come with a nice case to carry around. My sony ex71's are dangling all over all the time.

I picked up a pair of in-ear Panasonic RP-HJE50S that are pretty much identical to the EX71s and they are great. Black and silver though, so you might not like them with your iPod (although they work great with mine because I have a black case and really didn't want white anyway). They were $39.99 at a place just north of College on Yonge. I believe it is called Tele City or something like that. Anyways, they are very comfortable, great sound and plenty of cord. Essentially Panasonic's version of the EX71s.

Battery Plus carries some Sennheiser headphones/earbuds.

my gf slammed my iPod earbuds in a car door...

now I'm using Koss "Plug" but they aren't exactly the most comfortable around.. >:( (cheap though ;) )
