View Full Version : How do I capture a pic from a movie?

Hey guys im watching a movie on my computer via cyberlink powerdvd and I click on the capture photo button to take a pic of the movie but im not sure where that went? I went to my pictures and couldnt find it. Any other ways to do this? thanks

Hit Prt Scr button on your keyboard. Then open a picture program, even paint will work. Then hit paste.

Already tried that and just shows a black screen. :confused:

Video overlay. Try disabling hardware support in your dvd program.

When you press the capture button, the image will be on your clipboard ( default PowerDVD setting ).

You can make it capture to a file through the configuration button ( Player Tab> Advanced ).

Just as a FYI, there are 3rd party tools like snag-it that allow you to capture movie stills (advanced option) even in windows media player.
