The sony grand wega or the samsung DLP???HELP!!!

I am going crazy I need to buy a TV and have narrowed it down to these two. Which one is better, honestly DLP is a bit brighter, but the Sony is just a Sony, so which one should i buy. I am buying 42" sony or the 42 or 46" samsung. please advice.

thanks, but I am still very confused. I do not see rainbows on the DLP, but it is risky and I do not want to get stuck with old tech when it comes to the LCD's
