Yeah...so I thought I'd make it through life without ever undergoing this fairly invasive procedure...but two months ago it had to happen. Wasn't trauma related...just OP-required. Septoplasty. Punk a$$ doc didn't even do a great job. My snoring has dropped by over 75% my wife proudly declared the other day at my parents home :D , but there's the turbinum that he freakin ?forgot? about which remains to cause decent blockage.

Too important at work to get another week or so for a follow up operation. Oh well.

Being a fairly junior army Medic...practise on dummy heads is regular, but I've never performed a live one....YET! :twisted:

Isn't it where they stick a tube down your throat to (or through your throat?) to help you breath? (Yes, I watch ER sometimes)

That's what I recall too, for when the air can't get down the throat due to swelling or a blockage.
