Anyone try 100proofnews as their usenet service?

They have the cheapest monthly price for their unlimited service at $8.95us with uncapped speeds, but the thing im worried about is retention and completion. Anyone ever tried them personally? Lemme know. Thanks.

I used to subscribe to 100proofnews. I'd stay away. They have OK retention but the completion is very spotty. Although they may be uncapped, they were still sluggish in download times.

The only good thing about them was I signed up for a year and ended getting about 16 months out of them.

I'm now with Agent Premier Newsgroups @US$14.95 month for unlimited downloads. There are better news servers I'm sure, but I'm very happy with APN.
