I recently got a DVD burner.

I am wondering what's a good price for blank DVD media?

So far, the best I can found is around
0.30$/disc w/ 200pack spindles (Kodak, Dynex)
0.65$/disc w/ 100pack spindles (Mitsumi)
0.35$/disc w/ 100pack spindles (Dynex)
0.69$/disc w/ 50pack spindles (Verbatim)

So how much is a reasonable price to pay? I'd prefer a 50pack (v.s. a 200pack), since I use it to backup pictures I take, so a 50pack last me quite a while already.

Thanks

All depends on the quality of media you want...you can either buy those el-cheapo discs from like factory direct for $9 per 100 DVD-R's or something or get high quality made in japan media for $30 per 50 8x discs

I think good quality is important, as I used it to backup pictures. I don't want to find out later my data are not readable.

I do verify after burn, but still don't want to take too much risk.
