Check out the Home Depot one first for around the same price. I'm not sure if either of these have a remote control. Check it out.

I highly doubt this Danby one has a remote as it uses analog controls on the a/c and no display.

Dufferin\Steeles & Don Mills\Eglinton. I believe there are at least 3 more opening up at some point probably later this year. Maple Leaf Gardens, Eglinton\Black Creek & Weston\401

Edit: Or listing of the location/number. I prob gonna call to make sure theres stock before i head up there.

plz provide link? the Real Superstore? is this like LOBLAWS?
I went to home depot...they've been out of those models for a month now. :(

I just called home depot and the guy said there was no AC for $97. (i called the one in toronto - keele/st.clair)

I was in a HD here in Ottawa, and there is a price tag on the shelf but no stock on the 97$ AC.

Do these cheapo ACs come with the slide-across slats so it's fits into the window, or is it just the bare unit you get?

I have a 2 year old Danby 5000 BTU a/c and it's pretty quiet as far as air conditioners go..
