The GF wants to pick up a new cellphone with a built in digital camera.

Any suggestions as to what to stay away from and what is recommended? She doesn't nee the best or highest megapixel count either. What do you guys/gals have out there? Do you like them? What carrier is the best? Pricing, etc.

Thanks.

if u're looking for just camera function, i would recommend Sharp gx32....very cheap and best 1.3mp quality phone out there...some say its better than some of the 2.0mp too!

If you're looking for a CDMA (Telus or Bell) phone, go for lg 535. The camera on the 535 is quite amazing to say the least, it's comparable to a regular camera (in daylight conditions, doenst work as well in the night). There's also a built in flash which comes in handy. The phone is about 200 on a 3-year contract but its worth it. It's also got mp3 capabilities and video recording and the signal (RF) on the phone is one of the best on the Telus lineup!
