Hi Everyone

I am hoping someone can help me get a good deal on a LCD projector that I can set up in my basement to use a my home theater.
I am looking at the Optoma H31 as it seems to have good reviews. The only comment that I have heard so far is that it is not always bright enough.
So far the best price that I can come up with is $1400.00 and I am hoping that you can help me improve on that. ( I didn't see any truck that it fell off of  )

Anyways, if you have any suggestions on comments on this projector I would love to hear from you.

Thanks in advance

X

First thing is that the H31 is not a LCD projector, it's a DLP. DLP tend to have better blacks (ie. contrast), but can be prone to rainbows (4x colour on the H31 makes less likely though). LCD usually have better colours, but can be prone to screen door effect especially lower priced ones (moderately priced models like the Panasonic AE700 and Sanyo Z3 use technology to minimize the screen door effect...these projectors are generally priced in the $2K range).
