Place to sell my laptop

I have a NEC Versa P3, 512mb, 20HD. I want to upgrade my hard drive, any suggestions? I undersatnd it is very difficult to upgrade a laptop, so if anyone know where i can't start or go. I am from GTA.

Try CanadaSys, their prices arent bad, you can PM with them as well.

They should have technicians at their stores. I'd recommend the Markham(Steeles/Warden) location.

What speed P3? You need to make sure the motherboard (BIOS) on your laptop will support anything larger than 20GB. Its not terribly hard to upgrade a laptop as long as you know what you're doing (15 minutes?). You can either try finding specs/limitations on the net, or even on the NEC site or contacting NEC directly.

Thanks for the help, but I changed my mind and decided to sell my laptop. So I am look for a place in GTA to sell it or trade in. I know I can always sell it on ebay but I don't have an account and I don't sell frequently. I prefer to sell to a store or maybe someone from RFD would like to buy it.

You can 'trade-in' your laptop for a 'new' one at NotebookOutlet, but don't expect much, $200-300 would be pushing it.

Have you ever used their service to trade in? Do you have to buy a laptop from them after the trade in or can I can it somewhere else? I want to buy the laptop @ dell with special that is currently on. Will they give me less money for not buying it there?

You could selling it here in the trading forums. Someone would probably be interested in buying it. You would probably get a better price than if you traded it in.

Have fun trying to get $400 - 500 for an old laptop. You may need to drop that price quite a bit.
