On the back page of the LNT flyer this week:

Black & Decker
Toaster/oven/broiler (TRO355)
12-speed blender (BL600)
12-cup coffeemaker (ABD500)
Press 'n Dress iron (AS870)

Your choice $19.99 after $30.00MIR.

On the same page is the usual 20% off any single item coupon.

So: $49.99 - 20% - $30.00MIR = $9.99AR + taxes on $39.99

EDIT: Also, courtesy of Rehan, Daewoo microwave for $25.99AR (see Post #4)

Also, the 2nd-to-last page has a $70 microwave with a $30 rebate. So with the 20% off coupon, it becomes:
$69.99 - 20% - $30.00MIR = $25.99AR + taxes on $55.99

AEmgee, you could update the title to include a mention of this too, if you want. :)

I bought this microwave last year from LNT (Richmond, BC) but they wouldn't let me use the coupon as they were aware of the MIR. It works fine by the way...

The toaster oven looks like a good deal.

The toaster oven looks like a good deal.I guess "your mileage may vary" on using the coupon with items that have mail-in-rebates. I had no problems using a 20% off coupon in Mississauga when I purchased a Kitchenaid mixer with a mail-in rebate for a $40 gift card (and also no problems when I exchanged it a little later, when I found that the first one had a small problem).

the web category that showed them all doesn't seem to work now, but from the rebate (http://lntca.imageg.net/graphics/coupon/r2050082_rebatecoupon.pdf):

Thanks, but I don't have it. >:( called LnT, the staff said it could be found in local newspaper, yesterday or today or tomorrow or sunday, not sure. Hopefully, I can find it before the rebate ends.

Did you ask about a print-out coupon? If it works, you would like to see this: 20% off (http://www.flyermall.com/web/flyer/flyerPreview.html?pNo=11&sid=75)

A while ago, I posted this in another L'nT thread:

"While I was waiting at the cash register to get a rebate form printed after I purchased mine, the cashier was telling another customer that the store also accepted:
- 20% off coupons from Home Outfitters
- coupons printed from the web or from e-mail [I then mentioned Flyermall.com to the customer]
(This was at the Mississauga store... I don't know if other locations will do the same.)"

Call your local store and see what else they'll accept.
(Flyermall.com no longer has the coupon as part of their scanned flyers, I think.)

I am just back from East York LNT, they accepted the print-out coupon without any problem. The lady was nice enough to allow me buying two items with one print-out coupon (of course, they are two transactions).

They had this same deal on B&D stuff a while back (maybe over a year ago). No luck on using the coupon at the Richmond store back then either because it's an LNT rebate. It would've been fine if it were a manufacturer's rebate, though.

So if anyone wants to try to use the coupon on the B&D stuff or microwave, you might have better luck going to a store other than the Richmond one.

it seems I am lucky...I used the coupon on coffeemaker and microwave and got both rebate forms.

I just called LNT in Ottawa...

sold out of the BD iron.

I'm on the raincheck list and was told they should still be honouring the rebate.

I was also told that they do not accept printed coupons from online but that they accept competitors coupons.

Anywhere else I can get a cheap brand name iron?

I don't have one yet and don't want all my clothes to be wrinkly all the time...:)

Used the HomeSence coupon for 20% off the microwave in Ottawa, cashier gave me a coupon for the $30 rebate - great service.

Only coffeemakers left, rainchecked for the toaster oven - will accept coupon on raincheck. Rebate on B&D, purchase must be made by July 17. The cashier stated the LNT and the rebate handler have been in discussion and will accept rebates after the 17th. This will help those on rainchecks.

Anyone get any word on their rebate status yet? I exchanged my 1st coffeemaker (leaking), & at that time the MOD said they had been having some internal discussion over whether MIR would be honored with coupon - some managers said it was Ok and others said not. But she said to come back & talk to her if MIR was rejected so I assume she will give me credit, worst case.

my rebates of coffeemaker and microwave are approved according to expressgroup.com, I used 20% off coupon for both items. So, check your status online.

Thanks for the link. I'm not on file - guess I'll phone them in the morning.

Edit: found the right combination of spaces for my name/postal code. I am "qualified". Cool.
