If you are planning to use it on a BX chipset laptop, e.g. P3-600 to P3-1G, most likely the following will work. (notice it has 8 chips on each side for a 256MB )if your laptop use ALi chipsets, e.g. Acer's laptop, you might be able to pick up one with 8 chips which cost less. I recommend you to purchase it from a computer store and ask them to test it to make sure your laptop recognize it.

It's for a 650MHz ThinkPad i1300 which I got for $300.
So paying $100 for a stick of memory for it is out of the question.
I'd be happy if I got a 128MB stick cheap.
