View Full Version : Trader Alert. Jacob2111 & hot-m3d1c are the same persons.

Jacob2111

after some research its been determined that these two individuals are one in the same. both share an IP address and both listed AIW 9700 Pro's for sale. If anyone has collected any personal information from him, please send me a PM immediately.

If you are reading this "jacob", contact me via MSN at jaypatel2k@removehotmail.com

Ironically enough, hot-m3d1c contacted me earlier cause someone he was almost ripped off via fake bills..and now it appears as if he has sold someone a defective POS.

Nobody finds it suspicious that his join date was July 1st? Nobody finds it suspicious that his very first post was in the BST? We should have a rule of people who joined less than 1 year cannot sell anything.

What if you joined to sell, primarily all new people do that.

BTW, so this guys a scammer...?

I joined so I can post crap on the hot deals/freebie forum - not to buy/sell. But I guess I'm an odd exception

OK, that's good.
The odd exception is Peter Browne lol
Good thing you didn't join to tell you lost your pants, show videos of you in the shower, how to be cool etc.

Am I the only one confused here. You bought a video card from this seller right after he posted (good price I'm guessing?), picked it up right away and found out it was defective? Why couldn't you go back to his house and demand your money back? Or did you meet at the back of some shady alleyway?

I guess if the price is too good to be true it usually is. :(

fleabaggs
Jul 2nd, 2005, 02:17 AM
met at eaton center... it was set up that way.. he woudnt' give me his number either...

felix
Jul 2nd, 2005, 02:37 AM
yeah, that's why it's always safer to meet at the seller's home. At least then they're less likely to scam you. ;)

yah, i find it kinda sad who ppl have to resort to 'cheating' on others to get money that way... this forum was meant for people to save money on items rather than lose....

always do my best. too many active troll cases on the fly right now...damn.

guys and gals...for the love of god...PLEASE PLEASE get verified personal information next time. many of the active cases right now involve me trying to find a needle in a haystack cause no information was exchanged.

lesson learned fellow traders....no information...no deal. simple as that...

And to think I almost dealt with this guy.... I'm the one that had the fake $50... got it from Money Mart..... Even now people don't trust me because of that incident... but on that day, I had someone watching over me... otherwise I would be the one that got burned.

This (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170687) thread suggest a postal code of M6S 1B3, which translates into a street address somewhere on Budgell Terrace (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=M6S+1B3&spn=0.013837,0.029232&hl=en).

It's a small street, so maybe a bit of door knocking would find your boy.

I was just about to deal with this guy on Canada's day and offer $110. Good thing I was waiting for a price drop. I see why he didn't reply now. Sorry to hear you're out $120. I was paranoid with dealing with people on BST before and with this I'll have to be even more cautious.

fleabaggs
Jul 6th, 2005, 01:40 AM

hmmm i'm probably gonna go door knocking soon unless he wants to own up...
