city pass...metropass????

i dont understand what these two things are
the city pass you (supposedly) can use any transporation system (transit,subway, GO) in mississauga,brampton,oakville, toronto and brampton

but when i try to serach for it i get some entertainment city pass for the zoo and cn tower
does this city pass exist and how much??


and this metropass what is that i checked the ttc website but it just tells me the pricing...where can i use this


all in all i need to find a cheap pass that lets me use the mississauga transit, ttc bus and subway and the go train

metropass is only for the TTC. Dunno about the other passes you speak of.

no there is a City pass.. i saw it being sold @ a TTC subway collector booth. I think its a 1 day thing that allows u to use multiple GTA systems

we have that here in the ssauga, but it doesnt do what he wants

Fare Information


Fares Effective - since February 28, 2005.
Where to buy Tickets and Passes - Tickets and passes are available at the City Centre Transit Terminal Bus Stop Kiosk, Mississauga Transit ticket booth located at Islington Subway Station, and from authorized agents throughout Mississauga.
Exact Fares - You need a ticket, pass, transfer or exact change on all buses. Drivers do not sell fares or make change. A transfer is required between connecting routes and must be obtained when you pay your fare. The driver must see your entire pass without obstruction. Please have your fare ready before the bus arrives at your stop.
GST is not applicable to municipal transit.
Transportation Fraud is a criminal offence. Mississauga Transit tickets, transfers and passes must be presented to the driver without obstruction in their original form, completely intact and unaltered. Failure to do so may result in a criminal charge.
Ride for 50 cents with a valid GO Transit Ticket/Pass

Must be displayed to the local transit driver
Show valid GO Transit ticket or pass to the Mississauga Transit driver and deposit 50 cents into the farebox. Passengers presenting GO Transit Monthly Passes carrying the Mississauga Transit monthly sticker (available only at GO Stations) are not required to deposit 50 cents to board. EXACT FARE ONLY.
Monthly or Day Passes are valid for the month or date printed
Single-Ride Tickets are valid only from the rail station
For travel to a GO rail station, 10-Ride and 2-Ride Tickets must have at least one "un-cancelled" ride remaining
For boarding at a GO rail station, 10-Ride, 2-Ride and Single-Ride Tickets must show a "current" date/time cancellation (from the connecting GO train or bus trip)
One of the GO fare zone numbers must indicate the appropriate connecting station
GO Transit group passes or GO Transit photo I.D. employee passes are not valid for reduced fares under this program.

I saw the ads on the TTC a few days ago. Not sure, but I don't think it has come into affect yet. It's still in the talks...

i will be stopping at union and i need to get to the closest stop to the engineering campus at UofT

so what would be my best route TTC bus or subway

TTC Times Two, if your communte is TTC(1) -> GO -> TTC(2),
you only need to pay one TTC fare because your transfer from TTC(1) can be used for your TTC(2) ride. for example,
you first take a TTC bus to the GO station,
then take the GO train/bus,
and then take the TTC subway right after the GO ride.
you don't have to pay for the for the last subway ride, just use your transfer from your first bus ride (assuming you're transferring from valid connection points).
