I saw an article in DOSE free newspaper yesterday folks

Essentially the RCMP is looking for a lot of new recruits, chalk it up to the baby boomers nearing the retirement age

I couldn't find the article on DOSE website but here's something related

Could be a good and exciting career. I looked over the requirements and they do seem *manageable*

What kind of salary range are we looking at here? I guess you need to be bilingual too...I don't remember much of my french, so I guess I'm out.

I think you only have to be bilingual in certain regions mainly Quebec and New Brunswick maybe ?

You may be required to speak Chinese if you are working in Van or Toronto LOL


I think starting salary for new recruits is $45K, after 5 years on the job it could be up to $60K+, don't quote me though

It's certainly something different than the 9-to-5 white collar gigs that we've come to get used to

Then I told them which movie. Bad idea. i did not get the job ;(
