Fort Meade, Maryland High School: 17 year old White guy is attacked and severely beaten by a gang of 10 to 15 blacks’ right in the school hallway. And the schools principal, Joan A. Valentine, refused to cooperate with authorities by withholding information. She refused to reveal the names of
witnesses to the attack.

LoL.. and had it been reversed and been 10 to 15 white guys who attacked and severely beat a 17year old black guy.. it wouldn't have been news or been investigated by the police.

Meh. You think this doesn't happen here?
At the school where my wife works, another teacher was assaulted, and the principal essentially coerced him not to involve the police.
Principals will do anything to avoid bad PR. Valentine tried, but the situation got beyond what she could contol.

It sounds like she was trying to protect the identity of the students who fingered the perpetrator, that sounds reasonable to me - if their names got out, they wouldn't be around much longer (i'd be scared shitless of a group of 10-15 black dudes as well, and hope my name doens't get out there!)
