 hey just wondering if anybody has purchased through overstock.com and how their experience was. I am thinking about buying a ring through them cause the price seems right but just wanted to get an idea of other peoples thoughts. Any info would be greatly apreciated. Thankyou!!!

u do realize that overstock.com is an american site. This means that u will be paying duty. Shipping is also pretty expensive. In the end its not worth it unless u have an amerifriend.

They figure out the duties etc however I agree. Unless it's something you can't find elsewhere (esp. in Canada) it's not worth it. I'm certain you could find it cheaper elsewhere unless it's rather unique.

They have the option of calculating the exact costs for shipping to Canada like the Borderfree thing on eCost.com, but when I tried it for 2 books ($50CDN in total), the total came to $85CND. I wouldn't be surprised if they used UPS.

They have an international overstock for Canada. I saved 80$ + tax on a watch... it was 175$ at The Bay but I got it for 90$ including shipping & taxes.
