LOL - it is all about $$$
PETA is a sellout "organization" playing with the minds and pockets of people that really care about pets...
Let's not get into the business of donations where more money is spent on running the donation service rather than the cause!
If you want to do some good - do it yourself, and do it without giving out money!
Money corrupts!

Oh, the hipocracy!
So it's OK to kill animals now? And then throw them in dumpsters?
Just so long as you don't use their fur to make a coat  everything's all good?
These hypocrites are disgusting..

That's a funny post! It's hard to imagine anyone getting mad at PETA for doing the best they can with unmanageable tragedy. I'm sure some people's apparent hatred of PETA is their own way of justifying our society's horrific treatment of the majority of the planet's wild and domesticated animals.
Thanks for your satirical post - it sure gave me a good laugh!

So fur is murder,
and Pamela Anderson would rather go naked than wearing fur (I agree with that - I'd rather she be naked :D )
..
but killing dogs and cats is somehow OK?

Old news. This was on Penn & Teller's Bull***** a year or 2 ago. They had an episode on PETA. They have a big walk in cooler in their headquarters to keep animal carcasses, and their records showed that they killed over 1000 animals that were in their care.

Slightly OT, but how can you get Bull***** episode? I have searched hi and low on the Internet and can't find any.

You can probably rent them from your local video store, or buy them, they are out on DVD.
Some TV torrent sites have them too.

It's well known that PETA is the single largest institution performing animal euthanasia on a massive scale in the US if not the world.
In my opinion they rank about as high as Greenpeace on the bull***** scale.

Only country in the world with a rodent as national symbol!
When you have beaver problems back on the farm, Natural Resources tells you to deal with it, but dont try to sell any pelts cause they aren't worth anything.
Animal rights kids from canada and usa had a demonstration on Parliament Hill a couple months ago, inuit kids showed up in counter protest, american kids said they should shop at the supermarket like everybody else.

This is a repost since it springs from the orig story. It should be locked and merged with the other thread.
However yours has the advantage of having more exclimation points.

I dare anyone who "claims" outrage at this story to read the following story and continue to blame PETA...
How Could You? (http://www.crean.com/jimwillis/hcy.html)

this is kinda why i never donate to things like this. I feel horrible for the animals as i am a huge animal lover BUT if i can help i'd like to be there to help and use my money myself to see it happen.
Same with 3'rd world countries, i'd rather fly there with food and clothes myself then give money to charities. They have to pay for the planes back and forth, the people doing it.
I don't honestly believe anyone is 100% non profit, someone needs to pay the bills.
Maybe im wrong, but my point is, if i can help in anyway, i'll goto where ever it is i need to and help first hand
