Hello,

I'm currently experiencing a problem with my Wireless Network after attemping to switch my security from a 64-bit WEP to a WPA - Shared Key system.

First and foremost:

Router: Linksys WRT54GS (Linksys Wireless G w/ Speed Booster)
Firmware: 3.37.6

Wireless Card: Linksys WMP54GS (Linksys Wireless G PCI Adapter w/ Speed Booster)
Driver: v3.100.46.0

My 64-bit WEP was functioning perfectly - besides a poor signal strength (~50%), my computer downstairs (Dell Pentium 3 450Mhz w/ Windows XP Pro) was able to establish a connection with the router without a problem. Since the switch, I am able to pick up the network when scanning for a signal, but I'm unable to connect to it (I've tried the Linksys bundled app. and the Microsoft Wireless Zero app.).

Here's the network:

Network Mode: G-Only
Network Name: Massey
Channel: 1 - 2.412GHz

Security Mode: WPA Pre-Shared Key
WPA Algorithms: TKIP
WPA Shared Key: ***********
Group Key Renewal: 3600

Authentication Type: Shared Key.

Any light you guys could shed on my problem would be greatly appreciated, As I'm completely baffled by this one.

Thanks.

Did you change the security mode for both the router and the wireless computer? I had a connection problem with my linksys a while ago and it was because it was loading the old "profile" of my router and couldn't connect.
