I need to convert some svcd files to dvd.
Preferably all in one step (from mpeg2 files to a dvd iso).
I heard of such programs but am having a hard time tracking one down.
I used to do tmpegenc but I've gotten lazy :)

Best ==> you mean no reencode?
You have to find a DVD Authoring software not a reencode software...
Popular DVD Authoring software are
TMPGEnc DVD Authoring
DVDLab

How long is the movie that took 25 minutes? For an movie (1hour 30minutes) it takes me a freaking hour!
I have a P4 3.0 Ghz processor, Geforce PX6200TD PCI Express 128MB DDR, 2X 256MB PC3200 DDR 400mzh memory

The movie that took 25min for conversion was about 1hour 25minutes - 1hr 24min and 49secs to be precise. It would have been 27min for the conversion at the most for a 1hr 30min movie.
The setup on which I made the conversion is a AMD Athlon64 3200+ with A8N SLi Deluxe, 2X 256MB PC3200 DDR 400MHZ memory.
Everything at default speeds..
