Unlike other MP3 Players, the iRiver U10 is operatable with just one thumb. It's not like a PDA where it's touch sensative, but if you press the 4 places located on the edge of the screen, the screen will be pushed down, pressing the buttons that is inside the player.

Probably the usb connector slides out of the player body, like lipstick.

thats exactly what i was thinking. i thought is looked cool until i read 512/1GB. make one with at least 5GB.

these aren;t that pretty, tonz of asian players already support most of these things, i like the cassette player one tho, its got a nice retro look to it :)

iRiver does have 5GB players
but north american versions cannot be firmware flashed to play video

sliding USB means the USB plugs is built into the player now and is hidden when not used
to bring it out, you slide it out
safer this way so you dont bend the plug accidently or having to carry an USB cable

id love to have either the T20 or the T30

In PocketPC divx format you can fit on hours of video. On my 20 gig model I've got every (16 seasons) of the Simpsons on it.
