Is it possible to make windows xp cd and other programs in one cd. What i mean is whenever i install Windows xp. It takes me hours to do it. I usually install xp then programs i need which is time consuming. Is possible to make one bootable cd which contains xp and programs i need so when i install xp programs gets installed as well. Instead of going on each one to intall. Like restore disks something like it. If so how can i do that thanks

Hey uncle/brother, lol.
I wouldn't put my doubts up that it isn't possible...but it would be hard to find an install wizard that will work for such a unique function. But it has been done...system recovery cd's that come with laptops/desktops include installing the OS as well as bonus software in addition to everythign.

Totally possible... this is called slipstreaming a windows XP install disc.
Google it up and you'll find tons of guides on how to do it, but it's a bit of an involved procedure.

are you talking about restoring the whole OS (like an image/snapshot of an OS that has already been installed/configured) or installing the OS and applications completely fresh?
if it's the first option, then you can create one that will work on many pc's. Sysprep + Ghost can do this for you.
if it's the second, then it's still doable but you're bound by the size of the applications and media used. DVD is recommended for this if you have lots of large applications (i.e. MS Office). You can cut XP installation files down to about 220mb or so, iirc.

I find that Ghost/Trueimage/et. al. are only good if you don't make changes to your hardware and you reinstall your OS a lot. It's great at work (actually we use RIS, but I digress...), but at home it's better to make an unattended CD or DVD that also installs your apps as well. That way, if you change your motherboard or CPU for example, you don't have to re-do your Ghost image. Check here: http://unattended.msfn.org/ for ideas.
I make my unattended installs for the home using the above website and also the nLite utility (www.nliteos.com). I strip out a lot of the Windows core and fully automate the installation process. You just pop in the CD, have lunch, come back and it's done. :)

Of course it is possible. I have done it countless times. I have a special Pre-Load disc that is totally unatteneded and preps a drive automatically.
However, with Service Pack 2, disc space is somewhat limited. If you want a disc to contain XP and Office 2003, you will need a DVD.
I instructions to do this is quite detailed, but if you are really interested, PM me and I will get you started.

Why wouldn't you just take an image of a drive with everything installed on it? Seems much easier...

Then you would only be able to install that onto a computer with the hardware in which you made the image with

That's why I mentioned Sysprep + Ghost. Sysprep first, then GHOST. Properly done, Sysprep can be moved to any PC as long as the HAL is the same. different motherboards/chipsets are not an issue.
