No deposit in Ontario.... :D

Hey, let's buy tens-of-thousands of cases, drink all the water, then return the bottles to a province with a deposit! What a money-making scheme!!! As Homer would say: "I am so smart - S-M-R-T" :cheesygri

BTW, which provinces do have a deposit system for these bottles?

If you fill them up with your kitchen tap its about 1-2 cents per bottle.

I can't believe I paid 2.50EUR (~$3.75CAD) for a 500ml bottle of water in Rome. But it was worth it after all that walking.

go price match with staples, i know a few staples have those water in stores, and they sell it at 2.99 per case so 1.79 -(2.99-1.79)*.5 = 1.19, worth a shot... :D :D

People should beware based on your preference of water? Anyways, I think the term "ass" is particularly strong to describe the taste of a bottle of water. I'm drinking one right now...tastes like water to me, isn't overly waxey...beyond that I don't how to describe water.

I PM'ed this today at Staples. Since the SDM less than a block away from the Staples had this deal advertised on a big sign by the road, they didn't question it.

I wasn't charged the deposit ($0.05/bottle) so the price was even better. If I return all 12 to the bottle depot, my cost will be $0.05 /bottle. Almost free water!

FYI many makers of bottled water use TAP water as their source. Not all of them, but quite a few. So, next time you buy bottled water, you may want to read where it comes from (the source is usually, if not always, specified on the label).

Ummm... this Nestle water isn't Aberfoyle. It is public-source, just like Aquafina or Dasani, which both come from Region of Peel's lake Ontario water. If I wanted lake Ontario water, I don't need to pay for it in bottles.

Can they still call it "Spring" water?
