Autobaby CHH Mp3 Player

I have a Autobaby CHH MP3 player, whenever i connect it directly into a usb port(without any cables), the mp3 player powers up but it doesnt get recognized by my computer..I tried another mp3 player(z-cyber macer) in the same port, it worked... I have Windows XP and it says it does not require any software to be recognized.. The only thing that I can see is a problem, when the mp3 player powers on it doesnt go to the mp3 player to computer screen, it just starts at the normal screen.. Anyone know why and how to fix this?

did you put in some batteries into the mp3 player when u hooked it up to the computer?

some mp3 players dont get enough power from USB ports

You can't put batteries in it, your supposed to recharge it with usb..

then maybe the player is faulty
