Motor Vehicles & Accessories is not a for sale forum.

if you want to sell your car post it in Buy/Sell/Trade - non-computers

You would think it was common sense to post in this forum to sell a car.

I wouldn't call it a mini viper, but it is a good looking car.

posting pics would really, really help you sell it!

Hahah, mini Viper... nice try! Oh and yeah pics would help. Oh and since this isn't the BST thread, we can threadcrap! Just for the hell of it: (not basing this on any facts)

Don't buy this car! It's a piece of junk and will give you nothing but problems!

Don't know condition or anything.. but the asking price seems reasonable. For those in the market for this vehicle, it would definitely be worth checking out.

Actually when I had a stealth, it was mistaken a few times for a viper, mostly by people who weren't i nthe know about cars, and cuz the shade of red they used on the stealths and vipers were pretty similar.
I knew a few stealths that could spank Viper's on a regular basis. Viper's are notoriously difficlut to get to hook up off the line, so getting a holeshot on one with a 400hp AWD car can help even things up. But in a long enough strip, the Viper will eventually catch up and blow past.

Just curious, how much HP does this Stealth have?

stealth
Jun 18th, 2005, 01:26 AM
should be about 222hp when stock

No location and no pictures posted. I'm sure its probably GTA area, but a location and some pictures would help interest potential buyers. Thanks for the HP info:)

You forgot to quote the part I wrote in white which said "(not basing this on any facts)". And I think you misunderstood my post. He originally posted in the Motor Vehicles forum and not the BST forum... which meant that threadcrapping rules didn't apply. So I crapped on his thread as a joke.

I thought it was pretty obvious it was a joke... but I guess not to everyone.

Stealths are more of an old viper, rather than a mini-viper.

Do some more research ;) . There are two R/T models, one turbo, one not. A base ES and R/T model came with a claimed 222hp.

Actually my Ferrari gets mistaken for a fire engine truck all of the time, since it has the same colour red. WTF? Only morons will think that a Stealth is a Viper.

Personally, I think that the 94+ Stealths look better than the Viper and the Stealth's twin brother a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 Spyer is hands down better looking than the Viper (just my opinion of course).

Also, no Viper will lose to a stock Stealth unless the driver does not drive the car properly either off of the line or in a quarter mile run. If the driver sucks, my old 5.0 Mustang with 225hP will win too. Plus Horsepower can drop as the car ages. It may have had 222 HP when purchased new, but 13 years later, who knows what it will do on a dynometer.

I wont comment on who's a moron or who isnt, or what makes a person a moron vs. someone who just knows cars in passing. I can only say that it has happened to me.

As to the Viper getting beaten by a Stealth, I never said it was a stock stealth, nor did I say it was the non-turbo model i.e. 222hp that did it. You figure it out. But there's plenty of vids on the net showing it. Must be tough being a Viper driver, cuz everyone's out to try and beat you and make a name for themselves.

True, all things being equal, almost all cars will lose some of their ponies with wear and tear. And many dont have what they claim to right off the dealership lot either. And some may have a few more.

how did you do the engine change? where did you get it from? Did you do the trans as well?

I really hope you are bs-ing us (my bet), because spinners would look horrible on this car.

So, what did all of that cost you installed? More than the $7,000 asking price for the car?
