What ever happen to RFD Forum Rule #16??
16. As of June 22, 2005 any individual who commits a threadcrap in either of the Buy Sell Trade forums will be given an immediate ban. No warnings will be provided. If you are a new user to the forum, no amnesty will be provided. You must read the rules before participating in this forum. Similar to the personal attacks policy that is being implemented you can expect the following actions.
1st Offence: 3 day ban
2nd Offence: 14 day ban
3rd Offence: 30 day ban
4th Offence: Permanent ban
A moderator or administrator can choose to forgo the above and implement an longer/permanent ban should they deem appropriate.
Why should the seller get so much hassle selling something on RFD?

Okay.. When we had all the rumor about ttc ticket price will go up last year.. I went out and brought 10 rolls.. Yes it costed me $950 (my entire year piggy bank saving). Now I still have 8 rolls left, but I only need $300 cash right now.. so I am selling 3 rolls at a price of $95 each roll.. That is $95 for 50 tokens ($1.90 per token - save $0.10) -it was the price I paid for at the time. AND PLEASE do not PM me or post anything regarding fake tokens because this is 100% real, I brought these at Don Mills station.

Well.. back then.. the rumor was a 25 cents hike, not just 10 cents.. So i thought.. if i buy 10 rolls, i save $125 ($0.25x10x50). But it turn out to be only $0.10 increase.. so only $50 saving haha. Well at least these token dont devalue.. so i know it's a safe bet..

not thread crapping...just posting a warning to potential buyers. it is sketchy that you can refund for FULL price but instead you want to sell them at a discount. not many people would give away money like that, so all i'm saying is buyer beware.
anyways, free bump for you.

If you're going to call someone a dumbass, at least get your grammer right. Especially if it's only going to be a 9 word sentence. The mistake makes you look like the dumbass. So now people think you're a dumbass AND a scammer.

free bump...
i doubt that these tokens are fake...its a 5$ discount as per his original purchase price prior to last increase which was only a couple of months ago...so seriously i dont see any suspicion...would you like to see him sell the tokens at full price... ;) but i dont think anyone would be willing to buy it from his at full price..
btw do you think someone with 1600+ post would waste all that time just to scam 3 rolls of tokens.... :|

i think the refund only works for old tickets and not tokens, since tickets change in appearance when new prices occur but not tokens..

ya, i think so too, i tried to refund some tokens and really old tickets a few years ago at davisville, they didnt let me
they said they have to make sure no one is making a profit from the farehike
if u can buy thousands of token at old price and refund it at the new price, u make an instant 5% like that
the profit to a 5% annual bankin rate which is a lot by today's standard
and normal people would only go to refund at davisville when its actually on their way to dt or uptown, if u know u may not be able to refund and it would take an extra few hrs of ur time to try, i doubt u would do it,
free bump for tokens haha

thx for the bump.. but I am not interested to see ppl accusing me of selling fake tokens.. I just dont need the trouble.. I can use these tokens myself over the next few years to come.. And by the look of the gas price recently, using the ttc seem like "the better way".

Yeah I'd just keep them if I were you. Not worth the time trying to sell em, only to be hassled by people on here.

Hey,
I haven't used the TTC in a LONG LONG time -- I was under the impression that everytime the TTC has a fare hike, and if you use old tickets or tokens, they would accept and make you pay the difference to reflect the fare hike.
Hmm....anyhow, I'd buy them for my fiance if I didn't have to use my cash flow for overpriced gas right now :(
Free bump though :D

wtf dood i didnt thread crap i was asking if no one has bought any and was curious no one posted that they did and said thx to you, there is no such post so i was curious.. are you guilty of something or just sensitive?
as for the guy above under the impression they would make you pay the difference after a fair hike, yeh that is only for tickets hence the whole point this dood bought all these tokens because tokens hold they value and u dont pay no difference.
anyway good luck.
