There are some very good prices on filters, however all are in limited quantities. Mostly cicrcular polarizers for consumer lenses. 52, 55mm. Step up/step down rings. Nicely-priced consumer-grade tripods.

I bought a cheapish SLIK monopod for $10.
A set of close-up lenses (52mm) for $4.99
Canon video light ($25) + charger ($8) + last battery ($15)

There are a few 3 & 4 megapixel cameras for $150 - $250
They also had a few older style batteries for Sony video cameras.
No camera flashes, just on one Pentax-dedicated left.

Selection of photo albums is not great, however there are a few good scrap-book style albums.

Good deals are mostly in specialized items, which are regularly way-overpriced. Stuff is going fast, however they did say that they should bring out more items in tomorrow.

Bought the Pentax S40 today, so I'm selling off the Nikon 3200 which I bought from these guys yesterday. Everything is still in the original plastic except for the battery which I used to test the camera only once.

My kid has his eye on a Digital camera to take to camp. Any suggestions which model I should get him? Leaning towards Nikon 2200. Price looks about right. Did you see any there?

I do suggest an HP Photosmart 435. It's got no optical zoom for him to break at camp and a 5X digital zoom. It's 3.1MP and Good for a kid. Takes pretty good pictures and makes decent 4X6 prints, especially for the money you pay for it. I got one for my niece's birthday/graduation.

It's priced at Staples for $139.89 on clearance. But Officedepot.ca offers the same camera for $99.99 (http://www.officedepot.ca/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=798679&No=40&Ne=10326+1+10313&Nr=FILTER(canada)&N=1000000412+10325&Ns=p_CA_Price|0&An=browse).

Since Officedepot is one of the stores that Staples has a 150% pricematch guarantee for, I went and had staples price match it for me. I paid $80 plus tax on the camera.

For a kid to play with, that shouldn't matter. You're not taking high-fashion photography here. The Nikon 2200 is 2.1MP, which isn't enough to make good prints if he wants them.

I was able to buy a Sony DSC-P73 for $160+tax.
Looked almost in Brand New condition with everything that originally comes in the box.
IMO, I think its a good deal isnt it?

I picked up a Pentax Optio S5i for $269. It's a refurb, but it's in great shape. You wouldn't know it my the looks of it.

I also picked up a Giottos HD- 124 tripod. Which Vistek lists for $90.

some 27 exp disposal camera w/ flash for $2.99. Brand New Pentax *ist DS w/ lans for $950 (reg price @ Henry's $1100). The Coolpix 2200 (2MP) is a ok deal (IMHO 2MP is not that bad, you can print 4 x 6 and it works great. I had a 1MP before and when my friends looks at my 4 x 6 prints, they dunno the pic are taken w/ digital camera or it is only a 1MP camera)

Just go to a Staples store. I was at the one at lawrence and markham just a week ago for this camera and they had them.

My Nikon 2200 never worked couldn't download pics from the camera using software. Anyone else who bought the door crasher have this problem?

hi iron chef ajax! my dad bought me the pentax s40 at the sale and the pictures wouldn't download with the software that was given in the box. anyway, my dad searched around for an answer...but the most helpful thing was and is to contact (through email) nikon. my dad did and they sent him a download that fixed the problem. hope this helps =)!

It does thanks ... way ahead of you. Nikon is currently servicing the camera!
The camera worked perfectly, I could even take the pictures off the memory card by transferring by a card reader. Just thought that the design of the camera should allow direct download. Thus, service was required. Its been about 3 weeks now ... starting to wonder what is happening!
