The regular speed Sandisk 512MB Compact Flash card (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10018811&catid=20087) is $57.99, and after the $18 mail in rebate comes to $39.99 (not counting taxes of course).
Not a bad price, though mail in rebates do suck.
and in case anyone's wondering, it looks like this:

so whats the main difference between this card and the "SanDisk 512MB CompactFlash Ultra II Card" ????

Which would be better for a Canon A95 digital camera

The Ultra and Extreme version has faster I/O but most point&shoot won't be able to take advantage of it.

Send an email to Canon and ask them if makes a difference in your model. In my A80 it makes no difference.

Hmm....Andre's Audiotronics has the same sale on this week. I guess it's the same company.

Hey guys,

is this the model that Staples sells? If it is, then there price is $64.95. I think that staples will do 150% of the price before the MIR, and then match the mail in. So, if my math is right:
$64.95 - $57.99 = 6.96 * 150% =
(10.44)
(18.00)
= $36.51

Saves an extra few bucks and you get to avoid a rebate. Good luck if you try it instore, because when ever I try, I have to fight pretty hard.

I have an ultra card in a canon A75, and I never really noticed a difference.
Anyways, I'm new to the forum, so I hope this is right...

edit - Just noticed it's OOS. Dead deal, never mind
