Good Uniden 2-handset 900 MHz phone $50 at RS

$50 for Uniden DXI986-2A at RadioShack. This has two bases and two handsets. Caller ID etc. A similar model was recommended by Consumer Reports and I like it very much. Highly recommended.
Saw this in a Montreal paper and it might not be National.

you can get a pair of 2.4GHz for similar price.

I own these, got them for a similar price at Walmart and do not like them... Lots of feedback/interference

the 2.4GHz Uniden are much better in sound quality....atleast the model I have :razz:

well keep in mind that 900MHz is wireless friendly

ive changed all of the phones in my apartment now to 900MHz because of that

london drugs also has Uniden 900MHz w/ caller ID for 20$ right now

a very good quality phone too even if it is factory refurbed
