Staples.ca has the webcam for 79.99 and futureshop.ca has it for 44.99. Both have $10 dollar mail in rebates on top of that. So PM at Staples and you get for 29.99 +taxes, less $10 rebate. Not a bad deal for a nice little webcam. Will look great on those dell monitors that people picked up on the latest 10 days of dell deals (haha). Hope this helps someone.

Just read someone's review. The webcam seems to be USB 1.1, not 2.0 according to Logitech Tech support. The stated "2.0" may mean that it will work on USB 2.0 port only.

Nevertheless, the webcam looks kinda cool.

they're the same webcams. Pic looks different because it comes with two stands. One shows the monitor stand the other shows the desk stand. I'm sure your PM will go through.
For the price i think its a good pickup! My cousin has the logitech pro 4000 and yes its better, but still much pricier. Would rather save the bucks and upgrade down the road if I get good use out of it.
Futureshop has some good user reviews. Can always return if you dont like it.

They normally don't accept instore returns for online purchases. But if you claim that the online store said that you COULD return it instore, when the cashier says no, complain to the manager. They will eventually accept the instore return.
Yes, it is free to return online.
Personally, I'd wait for the 4000 Pro to go onsale or wait for a PM opportunity. USB 1.1 is going to affect FPS. P.S. You can get an OEM 4000 Pro from CanadaComputers for $69.

Also, what's the difference b/n OEM and RETAIL Pro 4000 ?

thanx guys for the online PM tips up there and thanx to gurshan for this great deal
I am just wondering that the staple website says that there is a easyrebate...does that mean we can just send in the rebate request online? Without mailing the invoice and UPC code there?

My guess is they might be tacking on an additional Alberta recycle fee that is now mandatory in Alberta...
Edited to add: oh, wait, never mind, that's not the situation in this case I guess.

Are you sure? I've had no problems returning online items in store. Unless they changed the policy recently. How they handle the coupons though depends on the cashier.

Yes, you can get the two rebates using two different addresses. But I'm wondering if you could get 150%PM for both of them.
Just to remind you, guys. The webcam is cmos not ccd.
