starting TOMORROW, BB will be selling the HP LaserJet 3015 AIO ( = All-In-One) for $350, less a $50 CAD MIR; stooples online is currently selling the same for ~$408, less the SAME $50 CAD MIR.

so if u want it:
1) go to stooples B&M instore TODAY and buy the item at REGULAR price
2) return to stooples B&M on FRIDAY w/ BB flyer/printout in hand and claim a PM on item
3) Do NOT try to PM this before the sale takes effect on FRIDAY! Follow the above directions!

(>>> sorry greenieweenie, i kinda "copied" ur format of PMing steps again... hope u don't mind ;) )

BB ($350): HP LaserJet 3015 Laser All-In-One Printer (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0926INGFS10041863&langid=EN)

BB's $50 CDN MIR: http://www.bestbuy.ca/Rebate/rebateform.asp?RebateID=1455110041863&logon=&langid=EN

stooples (~$408): Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3015 All-in-One ($50 mail-in rebate!*) (http://www.staples.ca/ENG/Catalog/cat_sku.asp?CatIds=,&webid=569025&affixedcode=WW)

stooples' $50 CDN MIR: http://staples.rebatestatus.ca/tearpad/060929_07102005.pdf

so after PM it'll be ~$321 + tax for an HP LaserJet!!!

BUT, remember that u can use COUPONS!!!! :D (plz refer to below for choice of coupons + description ;) )

u can use the $30off200 coupon and it should be around ~$291 + tax!!!

BUT, remember that on top of that, there's a $50 CAD MIR... so AFTER MIR, it comes down to only ~$241 + tax for an HP laserjet!!! :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ok... plz BARE with me on this... it can be quite a long read... but in the end u'll find out that u *might* be able to save another $20..... LOL

*start*

ok... i'm STILL unsure as to how combining PM + 2 coupons work, but *i guess* its possible to FIRST, add to cart the HP laserjet at stooples at FULL price (online preferably for coupon usage), i.e. $408, THEN stack ur $30off200 and another $20off200 coupon, which = $50 off a $400 purchase

looked in RFD coupons section and found a $30off200 coupon:
$30 Off $200 - Coupon code 50928 takes $30 off purchases of $200 or more.
Expires: 06/30/05

... which means, it should be $408 - 50 = ~$358 subtotal + tax...

AFTER, if u submit PM request online, and **IF** it works out, the PM diff. is $58... $58x50% = $29

take $29 off of the $350 = $321...
but if the coupon applies, its $321 - $50 (20+30) = $271

SO..... after adding a $30off200 and a $20off200 coupon, then PMing, u can get this HP laserjet for $329 + tax!

>>> BUT, there's an additional $50 CAD MIR...

so if the rebate comes, its $271 - $50 MIR = ~$221+ tax!!!!!

>>> w/ stooples 2 coupons, followed by a PM request, then followed by a $50 MIR, ... savings is QUITE a bit...

*finished*

***IF*** u can get thru adding the coupons, then get a PM request accepted refunding ur CC, then getting the MIR, then this "deal" is pretty damn hot IMHO....

ok... lastly, i do NOT make any claims that the above :arrowu: stacking of coupons + a PM will work out... so plz don't flame me if it doesn't ...

but anyhoo, even if u can't stack 2 coupons (a reason could be after PM subtotal is <$400), u'd be paying $241 + tax after $30 coupon, PM, and $50 MIR... which IMO is STILL a really good price for an HP laserjet AIO.....

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

happy PM'ing!

P.S. - if anyone finds a "mistake" on calculations, plz telll me.... (there are too many! LOL )

(aside: hm... anyone getting confused yet? i think i am... lol )

Staples.ca shows $399.95 for me

must be the "region effect" again... (like i've stated in many threads)

so if it shows up as $400 for u but u still wanna buy it, do the PM calculations accordingly... ;)

---------------------------

for this HP laserjet, stooples online has NOT dropped their price to match FS's yet...

PM PM PM!

I don't know if you will be able to use the coupons in-store - sometimes they don't let you. The easiest way to use the coupons is to simply order on-line, but the problem is that Staples will tack on a charge for next-day shipping when price matching.

I've got this printer and it is great; I'm really pleased with it. The flatbed scanner is a better choice, but they tend to be a lot more expensive.

Note one thing: This printer has the ability to do a scan-to-disk and scan-to-e-mail, both of which are very useful features (I use it to scan my MIR info - I just scan it to a file. When the rebate arrives, I delete the files - saves me paper because I don't have to copy it). The crappy part is that because the printer has to do a lot of polling to implement this feature, your PC will not be able to go into standby mode.

This is a known problem and has never been properly solved by HP since the AIO line came out over 5 years ago. You can turn off the polling by disabling the scan-to features, but then you lose the functionality.

Still, I like this printer. It runs quickly, can be networked (unlike the Lexmark X215 which requires that you use the Lexmark print server) and is fairly compact. OEM cartridges can be readily found on eBay for cheap too.

same thing i'm worried about too... as u don't have the "physical actual coupon" w/ u....
