If you go to rojakpot.com it tell's you how to visually tell if you have a 350 or 360 core. This most certanly looks like a 350 core card...bump for you

I think DDRII and 256MB means that the 9800PRO can be flashed to XT [identical] but don't quote me on this.

Yes, it can be, either with R350 or R360 core, just as long as you have the 256MB DDR2 SDRAM. However, if you want all the ATI temperature sensor/card maintenance software to work (which are the extra features of the R360, featured in all 9800XTs since all 9800XTs are R360 cards), you will need to have an R360 core. Then, you will have a TRUE Radeon 9800XT 256MB DDR2 SDRAM. Either way, with R350 or R360, you still get the performance advantage of the extra 128MB DDR2 SDRAM (which is usually 5-10FPS depending on how much resources the game consumes), plus both cores can overclock to past regular 9800XT speeds. You just lose/win on the sensor/maintenace capabilities of the R360 core. :) ...

BUMP for a good card that would sell in a day if price was lowered to something that no one could resist, such as $150 CAD. At $150 CAD, ATI 9800 Pro 128MB DDR2 SDRAM cards just disappear, so ATI 9800 Pro 256MB DDR2 SDRAM cards shouldn't have much problem. Hell, I'll personally take it off you if you lower the price to that range. Thanks and LMK.

Yeah man, you got a good price there. I don't understand why your card isn't gone yet.

Yesterday, my identical 9800 Pro sold for $190 within 12 hours of posting. yet yours is up here for days now.

Weird. Good luck, and free bump for you.

I guess it's cuz the core isn't clarified yet.. wether it's a r360 or r350.. people want the 360 more cuz it does better tighten memory timings when softmodded to XT and you get the temp monitor enabled.

Ah that's only for overclockers. It is useless to flash to XT. The most performance difference you would get is 10% - and that is running the huge risk of frying the card eventually.

A 9800 Pro is fast enough for what it does I think. If you want faster performance, you gotta go to the next-gen cards.

When I did my research I found that all 16 memory chips radeon 9800 has 350 core. But the only way to know for sure is to see it on the chip itself. So am not 100% sure what core this card has. Thanks for all your bumps guys.
