I'm selling a one of a kind Radeon 9800 non-pro 256 mb that a friend left for me. I have never seen any 9800 np 256mb so i guess it's probably a prototype. It has the R350 core on the 9800 pro 256mb pcb. and 2.2n samsung ddr2 chips with heatsinks. It comes clocked at 9800np speeds but i've been able to overclock it to 390 core and 360mem without glitches. I haven't tried to flash the bios but i would think it could be easily flashed to a 9800 pro ddr2. Like i said i did some reaseach and never found a retail version of this card.
asking price: $200 in GTA
btw i have some pictures but it says i'm not allowed to attach them on the "posting rules", can anyone tell me how to attach pics

It's probably a Sapphire 9800 Atlantis with 256 MB memory... what's the memory bandwidth, 128-bit or 256?

looks exactly like this (http://www.sapphiretech.com/awards/image/media_376.jpg) one except it has plastic pins, but this is a pic for sapphire 9800pro 256mb not np, on the back of mine the stickers says "9800 256mb" I will attach pics if i can, am I not allowed because i'm a new user?

nice card.
upload the pics to photobucket or imageshack and post the links here.
EDIT - if you are running the card now, install ati tool, and tells us if its 128 bit or 256 bit.

I never quite figure out why it always shows 128mb of ram. Obviously there're 16 chips on the board itself. And if you run the mem chip number on the website, it says it's a ddr2. Like i said it's a very unique card one of a kind

good price for a 256 9800 pro even though it is 128 bit. Any links to benchmarks? I am assuming performance on par to a 9600XT clocked at 500/680 like the Powercolor ones

I think it's the sealant between the chip and the heatsink.
Nothing to worry about.

I can only presume it's sold, or he doesn't want to ship, seeing as I PM'd him to buy it right about the same time as EternalBlue, and no response.

I assume it must be sold already, lucky VDDR got $120 cash indirectly from his friend... :D
I cannt beat this price since I paid for mine, and I am selling it not for profit.
$155 shouldnt be bad for a well-armed 9800pro with R360 core. I bump for this ad because one of my competitiors is gone!!! WOOHOO!!! :cheesygri
