i've done it before with walmart. this was a couple years ago though. i dont know if their policy has changed.

yes, but you don't get cash back
they put it on a gift card for you

No returns without a receipt anymore at Wal-Mart. I believe the policy changed last month. Probably due to too many abusers. :mad:

yeah, I remember reading about that too. That's good cuz such abuse drives up prices. Like those who return things after they've damaged it a few months later. :evil:

hmm really?... the walmart here in my area still has the same policy.. no receipt means u get the refund in a gift card... and you get the last price of it... so if the item u are returning goes down in price, then u get the last sale price of it...

Isn't the return without a receipt only on unopened stuff? Might be different for different places. Oh and they only accept the return if they have (or had) the item in stock at that location.

Last time i went to walmart (last week) the new policy is posted at every cashier. All items must be returned with a receipt.
