Not sure how big the market is for instruments on RFD but I'll give this a try...I'm looking for a cornet and a C trumpet. for those who may not know a cornet is like a trumpet, only shorter. These are popular in England and in brass bands. If you saw the movie "Brassed Off", you should know what they look like. So if you have one, please me know the make, model, and asking price. Picture below an example of what a typical cornet looks like.

I'm also looking for a C trumpet, exactly like a "regular" Bb trumpet only slightly smaller. This means the trumpet plays in the key of C (like a piano). LMK the details if you have one for sale. Picture below is a typical C trumpet.

Bump for you.

Was searching for brass and your thread appeared. Can you tell me what the difference is between a Cornet and a Flugel Horn? Trumpeter Rick Braun (solo Jazz artist/former Sade trumpet player) plays the Flugel Horn a lot on his albums. Sounds warmer than the trumpet, imo. Also Chuck Mangione. Who can forget Chuck?!

The flugel horn has a much larger bell then a Cornet or C trumpet. Gives it a much "cleaner" sound from what I can tell. Cheers.

Bump, I was more in hopes that you were looking for a tenor sax mouthpiece :(

Instrument market isn't that large . . .
