A little bit of both. I didn't realize my phone had text messaging til last week.
Text messaging has never been my fancy; I seldom use it to call anyone, but it's nice for emergencies.

i ment lazy/incompetent about going about finding answers ones onself rather then asking "helplessly"
but i suppose its almost as easy these days..theres plenty of us lurking the OT's seeking a post to drop our 2cents in ;)
btw, i love txtmsging..i opted for a txtmsg bundle to get more for less..saves me daytime airtime minutes while only costing 10cents..however sucks the rare time someone says they text me..and i never got it... :( ,..that can cause problems with the gf
