I owe around 90K. But I don't give in to my urges to over spend.
Still, I wouldn't mind watching this segment when it airs. It would be interesting to see a fellow RFDer moan about a staples PM deal that caused then to spend $XXX on some item they didn't need.

Why isn't this in the freebies forum? Personal financial advice, free!
We should get all the addicts to line up, and each tell his/her story on how they cannot resist the urge to buy products at below cost, and how he/she is spending millions buying buildings so that he/she can store all of the pricematched items.
What programme is this? Marketplace?
CBC should get Staples to do the Venture switch thing. Have the CEO work at a store, and have all of the RFDers lining up endlessly to get a pricematch. Then maybe Mr. Sargent will know how much the managers (or RFDers) suffer during a pricematch.

not just tv, but newspapers are famous for purposely misdirecting the public to portray a particular slant they want, especially if it is to rile up the community just to create a more exciting story.
This happened to me one time. I was misquoted and the wrong information got out. I specifically told the reporter the correct information and clarified it, and yet the reporter purposely put out erroneous information, just to anger the public even more.
Watch out.

I find that CBC prefers consumers more than businesses. That's just what I feel watching their programmes. IMO, consumer > businesses > politicians. :D
I have been misquoted by the Vancouver Province and Sun too. Not sure whether it was intentional or not, since it was only a telephone interview, and the reporters seemed to be in a hurry.
Rehan, why don't you tell CBC and Venture about Staples? :D
