Don't deal with takaouchicojp!!

We had an agreement for an iPod mini. Talked to him 30minutes before pick up time (which is like a 25minute drive from my house in Markham, the place was Fairview Mall). I got there and called him, and he starts telling me some family emergency came up and we can't deal anymore. But I can fully hear him in the mall and friends laughing and stuff in the back. Plus he doesn't sound convincing or serious about it. When I'm trying to find out what the deal is now, and I'm asking him why he didn't call me and tell me esp. cus I just spoke with him, and hes just like 'sorry sorry, cant do it' and he hung up on me. I tried to call him many times subsequently and he never answered the phone.

What makes this even worse is that I let him go with a rule break before hand. He "sold" me the iPod (we made the deal) a week&half ago and then he calls me day of pick and says he doesnt have them yet (his friend/supplier hasnt given them yet, so hes selling something he doesnt really have with him) and that he'll have Tuesday. He calls today saying he has and the above happened (which I'm positive was a bs excuse).

I told him it was an emergency. And I was leaving the mall when I was on the phone with him. I apologize again for the inconvenience. It was up to you to understand my end of the deal.

That is my honest story. People here can judge themselves. Fact of the matter is, family emergency or not, he doesn't even have the items with him. Has to get it from his 'supplier' first. That means its not even a personal sale, which is only what this should be used for unless your a sponsored seller.

Second, he says (in one of the posts) that he was just leaving. I had parked and was standing around, he could've fully just done the deal quickly on his way out then, to avoid all this. And I called him while he was apparently leaving the mall, so he could have picked up the phone instead of ignoring me.

From my understanding:
THEY WERE BOTH AT THE MALL AT THE SAME TIME. Cmon, emergency or not, the thing could have been done in 5 mins or less. The entire situation could have been taken care of. If the buyer was late or something, then sure, I can understand taking off to deal with some problem. But that wasnt the case. The entire thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth and at the very least, was dealt with inconsiderately and unprofessionally by the seller. Negative feedback might be a little harsh, but neutral sure as hell isn't.
