Hi guys, i have a few family guy eps and american dad eps i wanna burn to dvd. (avi format)
What program do i use? Also is it possible to create chapters?

There are several ways, but basically, you have to convert, author and then burn.

Well if you are looking to get spoon-fed, then good luck. cil254 bascially told you the steps (convert, author and burn) and a good resource to start looking.
It takes a little more than a 1-click process and you should do a little research yourself. Usually questions like these on less tolerant boards get a standard answer: "RTFM".
Google it, look through the tons of guides that exist out there, and then if you have a specific question, I am sure there will be loads of people here willing to help you.

That does not help at all.
Like porphyra said, do a bit of research, even on RFD this question has been posted several times.
There are several tools available for the steps I listed. The choice of tools depends on quality vs speed, lots of features vs ease of use, free or $$$ etc...
